May 15th - Construction Update

Crews have completed the excavation of the excess material along Willow Street. The sanitary sewer on Willow Street has been completed for this phase of work and the underground utility crews are continuing on the storm sewer installation. There were various fire hydrant adjustments and water main stub outs that were completed since the last update. The topsoil and seeding work on Plainside Ave have been completed and crews have also poured the storm sewer boxes on

the east end of Willow Street.

D&G Concrete completed the curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveway approach on Shebal Ave south of Willow Street. This section of roadway has been graded and is prepped for asphalt placement. Asphalt placement is scheduled to being early the week of 5/18 and should take 1-2 days to complete.

Private utilities have been on-site relocating their utilities where they conflict with the proposed utility and roadway improvements.

Storm Sewer Installation on Willow Street

In the coming weeks the crews will be working on the remaining storm sewer, the box culvert extensions on the box culvert between Kwik Star and Casey's, grading of the roadway in preparation for cement treated base and other minor concrete restoration work.
