Willow Street Improvements
PROJECT INFORMATION SITE
As part of the 2026 short-term capital improvement planning (CIP) for the City’s infrastructure needs, Willow Street reconstruction remains a high priority. The City has secured a sales tax revenue bond for infrastructure investments, including Willow Street Reconstruction Phase I. This phase will be carried out in 2026 and will be reconstructing Willow Street from the roundabout west through Honeysuckle Drive. The expanded roadway will include two lanes in each direction, turn lanes, a landscaped median, concrete trails, and streetlights. The new street will improve traffic flow and create a safer and more accessible environment for pedestrians. Pedestrian crosswalk signals will be installed at Honeysuckle Drive, Creekside Avenue, and Shebal Avenue. The landscaped median will enhance aesthetics and create an inviting and welcoming presence for the community.
